Delete your account

How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your Pets Bazar account and the data linked to it in either of these ways:

• Email info@pets-bazar.com from the email address of the account you want deleted, with the subject Delete my Pets Bazar account
• In the Pets Bazar mobile app, open Settings and choose Delete my account, which opens an email to us with the subject already filled in

What we delete

When we delete your account, we delete:

• Your profile, including your name, phone number, city and profile photo
• Your ads and their photos
• Your favourites and saved searches
• The messages you sent
• Your notifications
• The account itself, so you can no longer sign in with it

What we may keep

Some records we are required or entitled to keep, even after your account is deleted:

• Orders and payment or commission records, for accounting, tax and dispute purposes
• Abuse reports and moderation logs, to prevent fraud and repeat abuse
• Backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis and may still contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion

How long it takes

We confirm your request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm that the request came from you, for example by replying from the email address on the account.
